Good morning everybody. Hope you all had a great weekend. If you are reading this, then we have solved the problems that have been dogging the new website. It has been an interesting exercise, but we have one of the best web guys around working with us. Mike has done amazing things both in malware recovery and obstinate websites that won’t do what you want them to do!! In the news today: Melania and Ivanka scored a home-run at the G-20 conference in Hamburg, Germany. Their popularity rating has outscored by a long shot just about everyone else in Washington…including Trump, Pelosi and Schumer. The Europeans may do some weird things, but they love class and fashion. / The New York Times is at it again claiming Trump is antisemitic. The Russian thing must not be working so they are pulling this out. / But the NYT also is running a new Russian narrative. This one is hard to follow because it has lots of moving parts. Suffice it to say it is brought to you by the same people who claimed Trump hired prostitutes to urinate on him on a trip to Europe. / If you haven’t been following the story of Charlie Gard in Great Britain, do some reading on it. Several American hospitals have offered to take over the care of infant Charlie Gard while experimental treatments are tried to save the infant’s life. The parents have raised the money to move the baby. But the hospital sued the Gard family, and the European High Court…I repeat…the European High Court…has forbidden the parents from removing the baby from the hospital as the hospital moves to turn off life support systems. Such are the wages of globalism and socialized medicine. / Senator Ben Sasse has apparently forgotten he is a Republican as he makes a move to run in a primary against Trump in 2020. The arrogant SOB is following in the footsteps of John Kasich who has somehow managed to make compassion look foolish. Neither Sasse or Kasich hold much stead with rank and file Republicans. They are legends in their own minds. / Cable news ratings indicate that CNN is falling, MSNBC is rising, and Fox News is holding its own. Fox News is still the number 1 cable channel, although its overall numbers have slipped in light of the network shakeup over alleged sexual harassment. But its numbers have risen substantially in the 24 – 50 demographic…especially with Tucker Carlson who replaced Bill O’Reilly. Meanwhile, MSNBC has let Greta Van Susteren go replacing her with a left wing nut. And Megyn Kelly is where? / With the July 4th holiday over, it is going to seem like a long week!!! God’s in His Heaven and all’s right with the world. We will have a beautiful day if the Lord is willing and the creek don’t rise.
